David V. Gladwell died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008. He was 31.

Born in Vicksburg, Mr. Gladwell attended Warren Central High School. He was a member of the Northeast Volunteer Fire Department and an employee of Gary Jones Pest Control Company.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles Gladwell.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Gladwell of Vicksburg; his mother, Dorothy Gladwell of Vicksburg; his father, Willie “Winkie” Gladwell of Vicksburg; two brothers, Willie Gladwell Jr. and Charles Edward Gladwell, both of Vicksburg; one sister, Stephanie Gladwell of Vicksburg; and three nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Nation, rector of Holy Trinity Church, Episcopal, officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.
