Loretta Allison Flanagan died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. She was 103.

Mrs. Flanagan was born in Good Hope, Ohio, on Feb. 20, 1905. She was the daughter of the late Hyram Allison and Ella Wrife Allison.

She was preceded in death by her husband John D. Flanagan Sr.; and brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, J.D. Flanagan Jr. of Metairie, La.; two granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; three great-grandsons; a sister, Martha Elias of Fall River, Mass.; and numerous nieces and nephews including Joyce Wright and family of Vicksburg.

Services were this morning at Fisher Funeral Home.
