Entergy reported 826 customers intermittently lost power for nearly two hours Tuesday night in some neighborhoods around Pemberton Square Boulevard, Halls Ferry Road and Wisconsin Avenue, said spokesman Don Arnold.
“It was due to the wind slapping some wires together. It did it three times last night,” said Arnold. “What they did was go out there and put some spacers between the lines to solve the problem.”
Power was reportedly out from 11:02 p.m. to 12:43 a.m. Arnold added Entergy has been experiencing random outages over the past month in the areas affected last night, and said the spacers put on the lines should prevent any further outages due to wires hitting one another.
