Ten-year-old Hunter Dugas, the son of Troy Dugas and Connie Wooley, has his eyes checked during South Park Elementary School’s health fair Tuesday. The machine was brought to the fair by members of the Lions Club of Vicksburg. Visual acuity standards, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics, are:

* 20/40 for children 3-4 years old.

* 20/30 for older children.

* 20/20 for school-age children.
