NEWELLTON — Bonnie Guyton Harold died Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, at Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria, La. She was 59.

Mrs. Harold was born in Bedford, Pa., and had lived in Tensas Parish since 1977. She was a Tensas Parish sheriff’s deputy.

Survivors include two sons, James Harold Jr. of Monroe and Scott Richard Harold of Newellton; two daughters, Judith Goodwin of Ball, La., and Paula Duncan of Pineville, La.; two sisters, Delores Price of Norwalk, Ohio, and Genevieve Taylor of Everett, Pa.; one brother, Woodrow Guyton of Baltimore, Md.; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Pentecostal Church of St. Joseph with Ricky Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Legion Cemetery in Newellton. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah.

Pallbearers will be members of the Tensas Parish sheriff’s honor guard.
