YAZOO CITY — Barron Keith Williamson Sr. died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at his home in Yazoo City. He was 54.

Mr. Williamson was born in Memphis and was a resident of Yazoo City. He was a member of Satartia Baptist Church. He was employed as an electrician at International Paper in Redwood.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Williamson; and a brother, Randall Williamson.

Survivors include one son, Barron Keith Williamson Jr. of Airway Heights, Wash.;  a daughter, Dee Manning of Madison; his mother, Ruth Fendley Williamson of Yazoo City; a brother, Clay Williamson of Yazoo City; two sisters, Teresa W. Bowerman of Hockley, Texas, and Donna Luke of Carrollton, Texas; two grandchildren; and other relatives and friends, including Sarah Burroughs of Redwood.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stricklin-King Funeral Home in Yazoo City with the Rev. Don Alexander officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.
