Services for Jerell Tyrone Thomas will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Second Union M.B. Church with the Rev. Johnny B. Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Second Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 6 tonight at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. Thomas died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was 26.

A Vicksburg native, Mr. Thomas was employed in food service at River Region Medical Center. He was a member of Second Union M.B. Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Jaden Thomas of Vicksburg; his father, Wylie DeWayne Davis of Chicago; his mother, Doris Thomas of Vicksburg; two brothers, Carlton Thomas and Cornelius Thomas, both of Vicksburg; one sister, Lorraine Thomas of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
