A children’s quilting workshop will be taught at Southern Cultural Heritage Center by quilting professional Diane Jordan Jan. 7 and March 18.  The classes will be from 8:30 a.m. until noon during the Vicksburg Warren School District’s intercession weeks. Mothers are welcome, and students will create charm square quilts.  Cost is $65 per child per workshop and includes a quilting fabric kit. Participants must provide small scissors, seam ripper, neutral thread, large zip-top bag and a sewing machine; few machines for rent for $20. Space is limited to 12.
