LORMAN — William “Buddy” Greene died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. He was 70.

Mr. Greene was preceded in death by his parents, Henderson and Katie Greene; a son, William Greene Jr.; a brother, Sidney Greene; and a sister, Katherine Phillips.

Survivors include his wife, Dasie West Greene of Lorman; a brother, Jessie Greene of Port Gibson; two sisters, Lenora Dotson and Katie Young, both of Port Gibson; one stepdaughter, Catrina West of Port Gibson; one stepson, Shelby West of Port Gibson; and nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives, including Mattie West of Port Gibson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rising Sun M.B. Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Larry Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 today at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
