Mr. and Mrs. Mark Edward Melville of St. Joseph, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth, to John Chandler Gregory. Mr. Gregory is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Timothy Gregory, also of St. Joseph.

Vows will be exchanged Dec. 27, 2008, at St. Joseph Baptist Church.
