The engagement of Robyn Jeanine Porter to Billy Dale Jeffers, both of Vicksburg, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. Jan. 24, 2009, at Triumph Church. A reception will follow at The Vicksburg. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Porter is the daughter of David and Dian Mobley and Bill and Judy Porter of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Lena VanEtten and the late Paul VanEtten of Vicksburg.

Mr. Jeffers is the son of Tommy and Faye Jeffers of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a 1991 graduate of Warren Central High School, where she was a member of FFA.

She attended Hinds Community College.

Miss Porter is manager at Bovina Feed and Seed and works as a first responder and firefighter for the Bovina Volunteer Fire Department.

The prospective groom is a 1985 graduate of Warren Central High School.

He received a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Mr. Jeffers is a deputy for the Warren County Sheriff’s Department.
