Services for Josephine C. “Jo Bailey” Prentiss will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Travelers M.B. Church with the Rev. Alfred Lassiter officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the service.

Mrs. Prentiss died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at Promise Specialty Hospital. She was 99.

Mrs. Prentiss was born in Warren County and attended China Grove School. She was a retired cook and homemaker and a member of Zion Travelers M.B. Church.
