FORT WORTH, Texas — Fred A. Russell died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, at Arlington Memorial Hospital. He was 56.

Reared in Vicksburg, Mr. Russell was a resident of Fort Worth, Texas.

He is survived by his parents, Bobbie and Steve Muirhead; two sisters, Sandy Walter of Argyle, Texas, and Josie Moody of Vicksburg; one brother, Ronnie Muirhead of Vicksburg; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Redbone Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon Saturday until the service.

Pallbearers will be John Hopkins, Rusty Barnes, Alvin Geter, Gerald McKenzie, Ricky McKenzie and Larry Joe Barefoot.

Honorary pallbearers will be Susan Stagg, Travis Chambliss and Paul Barrett.
