Annie Lee King died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 at River Region Medical Center. She was 85.

Mrs. King was a homemaker and a member of Mercy Seat M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Willie King; her parents, Jonas and Mattie Byrd; two brothers, J.B. Byrd and J.C. Byrd; and four sisters, Alversie Rockingham, Josephine Reese, Lucille Mack and Georgia Johnson.

Survivors include a son, Johnnie L. King Sr. of Vicksburg; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
