NATCHEZ — Eddie Allen Myers Jr. died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2008, at his home. He was 40.

Mr. Myers was a native of Greenwood. He had worked as a truck driver and in construction. He served in the National Guard and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Vicksburg.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Osborne Myers.

Survivors include his son, Quentin T. Myers of Greenwood; his father, Eddie Allen Myers Sr. of Greenwood; two brothers, Steven Myers and Keith Myers, both of Greenwood; two sisters, Patty M. Richardson and Ginger M. Holloway, both of Greenwood; one grandchild; nieces and nephews; and John Chase Paige and Billy D. Dumas.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Greenwood. Visitation will be from noon until the hour of the service at the church.
