Under a portrait of Civil War Confederate generals, travel counselor Frances Simmons starts a biographical video on the life Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Mississippi Welcome Center on Washington Street this morning. A video about the life of Barack Obama also played in honor of King’s birthday and Obama’s historic inauguration Tuesday. The videos are expected to run through Tuesday.
