Cell phone, change missing in city

Burglaries were reported in the city, police Lt. Bobby Stewart said today.

* About $25 in change was reported missing at 1 a.m. Sunday from the 700 block of Locust Street.

* A cell phone valued at $149, two pairs of gold earrings valued at $60 each, a gold chain valued at $80, five PlayStation 2 games valued at $40 each and $150 in change was missing at 1:29 p.m. Monday fromĀ  the 1500 block of Station Hill Road.

Oklahoman arrested for probation violation

An Oklahoma man was in the Warren County Jail today for probation violation, jail records showed.

Michael King, 26, 47976 Circle 492, Salina, was arrested Tuesday by deputies at Halls Ferry and North Frontage roads. He was being held for Oklahoma authorities.
