Lynrose Early Williamson

Lynrose Early Williamson died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at her home. She was 85.
Mrs. Williamson was a native of Yalobusha County and had lived in Vicksburg for the past 60 years. She was a graduate of Mississippi University for Women and retired from the Mississippi State Extension Service as a home economist.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Vicksburg, where she was in the Priscilla Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Williamson; her parents, Eva and Charles Early; two brothers, Wayne Curtis Early and Harold Vance Early; and four sisters, Myrtle O. Burns, Pauline Bloodworth, Zola Belle Fielder and Loyce Raulerson.
Survivors include one daughter, Lynette W. Fuller of Vicksburg; two brothers, Gerald Early of Cascilla and Charles L. Early Jr. of Horn Lake; one sister, Iona Early of West Memphis, Ark.; and two grandchildren, Corey and Susan Fuller.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home with Dr. John G. McCall, Dr. Matt Buckles and the Rev. Jim Hess officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from noon until the service.
Pallbearers will be Mark Chaney, Arthur Lagg, Calvin Pugh, Edmund McMaster, Robert Peters and David Haworth.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Priscilla Sunday school class, the staff and volunteers of Patient’s Choice Hospice, Dr. Dan Edney and Geneveve Berry.
