HERMANVILLE — Darryl D. Shorter died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, at his home in Hermanville. He was 30.

Mr. Shorter is survived by his mother, Shirley N. Shorter of Hermanville; his father, Jerry Shorter of Hermanville; three brothers, Michael Shorter and Jerry Snowball, both of Hermanville, and Jerome Snowball of Utica; two sisters, Veronica Byther and Krystain Shorter, both of Hermanville; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including Sarah Wilson of Hermanville.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Hermanville with the Rev. Johnnie Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Hermanville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 tonight at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson with family hour from 6 until 7 and Saturday at the church from noon until the service.
