Southern Miss tweaks baseball schedule

HATTIESBURG — Southern Miss will move its baseball game against UAB game on Saturday, April 18 from a 4 p.m. first pitch to a 2 p.m. start, to allow fans to attend the spring football game which is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

For the East Carolina series in Greenville, NC, the Golden Eagles will play a doubleheader on Saturday, April 25 at 3 and 7 p.m. They will not play on Sunday, April 26. Both games will be televised nationally by CBS College Sports.

The Golden Eagles open the 2009 season on Feb. 20 at Pete Taylor Park.
