Prep basketball playoffs continue today and Friday for Vicksburg High’s boys and Warren Central’s girls.

BOYS

Thursday, Feb. 12

8:30 p.m. – Vicksburg vs. Ridgeland, at Callaway

With a win, Vicksburg would play either No. 1 seed Callaway or Yazoo City on Friday night at 8:30 for the Division 3-4A championship. Gators will clinch a home playoff game on Tuesday with a victory tonight.

With a loss, VHS would play the Callaway-Yazoo City loser at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Gators, who have already earned a playoff berth, will have to travel if they lose tonight.

GIRLS

Friday, Feb. 13

6 p.m. – Warren Central vs. Greenville, at Provine

A win gives Warren Central the Division 3-5A championship and a home playoff game on Monday against the loser of Friday night’s Tupelo-Starkville game. Warren Central also has claim to the North State Tournament, should it win Monday’s satellite game.

A loss will send the Lady Vikes to either Tupelo or Starkville on Monday for the satellite game.
