Woman’s purse stolen while she pumps gas

Two auto burglaries were reported in the city Friday, Lt. Bobby Stewart said.
At 1 p.m., a woman’s purse was reported stolen from her 2001 GMC Yukon at the Kroger gas station, 3400 Pemberton Square Blvd., while she was paying for her gas. The purse contained $20, a $15 gift card, a Motorola RAZR cell phone valued at $200 and various personal items.
At 7:15 a.m. a guest at the Wyngate Hotel, 115 Cypress Center Drive, reported that a briefcase had been stolen from his 2008 Chevrolet Suburban. The briefcase contained assorted items valued at $700.
City woman charged with sale of cocaine
A Vicksburg woman was arrested Friday on drug charges.
Shennette Buck, 38, 20 Water Well Road, was charged with sale of cocaine after an undercover investigation, said Lt. Bobby Stewart. She was in the Warren County Jail on $7,500 bond after being arrested at her home.
On Jan. 29, Buck’s mother was arrested at the same address on similar charges, Stewart said. Mary Ann Buck, 53, was charged with possession and sale of a controlled substance. She was free on $10,000 bond.
