CHICAGO — Services for Henrietta Bolls Martin will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Gatlings Funeral Home in Chicago with Kenneth Bolls officiating.

Mrs. Martin died Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, at her sister’s home in Chicago. She was 83.

Mrs. Martin was a Vicksburg native. She lived in Chicago for 40 years before returning to Vicksburg.

She attended Ebenezer Baptist Church of Vicksburg and Holy of Holies Church in Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Flat” Martin; her parents, Geneve Cooper Bolls and Clarence Bolls; a brother, Wallace Bolls; and a sister, Ulara Bolls Williams.

Survivors include three sisters, caregiver Mary Bolls Cosey and Percynell Thomas Banks, both of Chicago, and Angeline Thomas Jones of Los Angeles; and members of the Cooper, Bolls, Williams, Banks, Jackson, Lyles and Davis families.
