Ola Belle Hengst

CARY — Ola Belle Hengst died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at Sharkey-Issaquena Hospital in Rolling Fork. She was 80.
Mrs. Hengst was a native of Port Lavaca, Texas, and had lived in Cary since 1963. She retired as an office assistant after 41 years for Moore Planting Co. She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church LCMS in Vicksburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest J. Hengst; her brother, Francis Priddy; and her parents, Joseph C. Priddy and Charlotte Dorris Priddy.
Survivors include three sons, Earnest J. Hengst and wife Karen of Las Vegas, N.M., Thomas L. Hengst and wife Pamela of Rolling Fork and Randolph Hengst and wife Tyann of Cary; one daughter, Charlotte Baker of Bassfield; three brothers, Joseph W. Priddy and James A. Priddy, both of Cary, and David C. Priddy of Atlanta; and nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Messiah Lutheran Church LCMS of Vicksburg with the Rev. Gary Osbourn officiating. Burial will follow at Cary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork and Friday at the church from 9 a.m. until the service.
Pallbearers will be Jody Priddy, Robbie Braxton Jr., Todd Hengst, Walker Hengst, Jordan Hengst and Greg Priddy.
