CAMDEN, Ark. — Ada Iola Mahan died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009. She was 96.

Mrs. Mahan was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. “Jake” Mahan; parents, Joe T. and Betty Sue Lea Walker; nine brothers, two sisters and a son-in-law.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Ables of Vicksburg and Marilyn Clemons and husband, Don, of Little Rock, Ark.; two grandchildren, one step-grandchild, four great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Proctor Chapel, with burial to follow at New Holly Springs Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
