Eight found guilty

Eight convictions of driving under the influence were recorded in local courts during the week ending Tuesday.

Found guilty of DUI first offense in Warren County Justice Court were:

* Kenisha Nicole Clark, 31, 751 Glen Cross Drive, Jackson, fined $671.50.

* Benjamin W. Grantham Jr., 39, 85 Turnerville Road, $661.50.

* Darnell L. Thomas, age unavailable, 121 Hidden Trace Court, Montevallo, Ala., $661.50.

* Derrick Turner, 24, 401 Pleasant Valley Drive, $661.50.

Found guilty of DUI second offense was:

* Eddie L. Jordan, 42, RR1 Box 610, Richland, Ga., fined $941.50 and sentenced to five days in jail.

In Vicksburg Municipal Court, the following were found guilty of DUI first offense and fined $681:

* Donald Ellis Nelson, 56, 913 Lakeview Drive, Logansport.

* Carlos Lamar Armstead, 29, 2418 Halls Ferry Road.

* Terry Michael Ross, 41, 1208 China St.
