Vicksburg Fire Department EMS workers treat 19-year-old Heather Smith, 12 1/2 Eager St., Clinton, after a wreck on her motorcycle on Nailor Road Wednesday afternoon. Smith was headed west on Nailor when a car driven by Steven L. White, 46, 112 Tower Drive, turned left onto Tower from the eastbound lane of Nailor in front of Smith, causing the motorcycle to hit White’s 1999 Volkswagen Passat. Smith was initially treated at River Region Medical Center and then transferred to University Medical Center in Jackson, where a spokesman said this morning she was in fair condition. Warren County Deputy Tom Wilson said White was charged with  felony aggravated DUI. (Suzanne Feliciano*The Vicksburg Post)
