Candlelit lanterns lined the church’s walkway, and the doorways held arrangements. The path to the altar was marked with wrought-iron, antique candelabrums trimmed in handtied bouquets of roses, hydrangeas, snapdragons, asparagus fern and ivory ribbon. A design of pale peach and pink roses, orchids, tulips, snapdragons, gerbera daisies, calla lilies and greenery nestled with candles filled the baptistry window. Completing the altar setting on each side was a pair of arrangements featuring the wedding flowers and candles in antique urns. Large hurricanes with ivory candles and ribbons centered each window.

Classical and traditional prelude selections were performed by Susan Gambrell. A program of nuptial music was presented by Jane Joseph, organist; Riley Harper, vocalist; Beaver Myers, trumpeter; and Sandra Shugars, violinist. Grandmothers were seated to “Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us,” followed by “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” for the seating of the mothers. Harper sang “Surely the Presence” before the attendants entered to “Rondeau” and “Canon in D.”  Following the chiming of the hour, the bride and her father entered the sanctuary to Clarke’s “Trumpet Voluntary.” “The Lord’s Prayer” was sung following the blessing of the marriage. The recessional was “La Rejouissance,” and the postlude was “Hornpipe.”

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a designer gown of ivory organza and silk. Alencon lace embellished with pearls and Swarovski crystals fashioned the sculptured bodice, which was scalloped at the strapless neckline and closed in back with traditional covered buttons. Shirred organza defined the fitted waistline, from which fell the draped skirt and chapel train edged in beaded lace.

She wore a cathedral-length veil, trimmed in soft ivory thread and accented with an ivory monogram.

She wore diamond earrings, a gift from the groom.

The bride carried a traditional handtied nosegay of white and pale pink roses, white phalaenopsis orchids, miniature calla lilies and blossoms of stephanotis centered with crystal gems interspersed among the flowers. Tucked into the bouquet was an antique handkerchief belonging to her maternal great-grandmother.

Maids of honor were Marianne Joy Kerut and Sarah Elizabeth Kerut, both of Vicksburg. Bridesmaids were Valerie Michele Wright and Lea Anna Tice, both of Brandon; Kimberly Rottman Shirley of Pearl; Mollie Richards George of Vicksburg; Ashley Ivy Benjamin of Tupelo; Katie Elizabeth Pigford of New Orleans; Kristen Renee Patrick of New York, N.Y.; and Mandy Malone Black of Hagerstown, Ind.

The attendants wore floor-length, A-line gowns in foliage luminescent. The strapless bodice featured a draped midriff and covered buttons in back. They each carried bouquets of pale pink and white roses, orchids, miniature calla lilies and pale blue hydrangeas.

Flower girl was Riley Merideth Bowman of Pelahatchie. She wore a sleeveless, tea-length dress of ivory silk organza accented with an ivory sash. She wore a halo of baby’s breath and white sweetheart roses and carried a basket of rose petals.

Wayne Lamar Prescott of Vicksburg served as best man. Groomsmen were Blake Bailess Nasif, William Allen Hood II and Jonathan Robert Brock, all of Vicksburg; Robert Oren Newton, Jonathan Craig Newton and Jason Kyler Martin-Nez, all of Brandon; John Michael Stewart of Madison; Nathan Lamar Prescott of Ocean Springs; and Carl Anthony Banchetti of Houston, Texas.

The mother of the bride chose a designer, floor-length, A-line gown of midnight-blue silk accented with a portrait collar and a crisscross bodice.

The mother of the groom wore a floor-length, designer sheath gown with a scooped neckline and draped waist in embroidered chocolate shantung silk. She also wore a coordinating chocolate bolero jacket.

Both mothers carried handtied nosegays of miniature roses, calla lilies and stephanotis. Tiny crystals were scattered among the flowers, which were gathered at the stems with ribbon.

The club’s entrance was outlined in flowing white tulle, twinkling lights and four urns filled with fern and baby’s breath. The foyer table held a display of monogrammed wedding cookies for guests. Rose petals for tossing were placed in a silver urn atop the mahogany table under the staircase

The mezzanine level held the guest book and a large wedding portrait of the bride. The windows were filled with assorted flower arrangements.

The food table held two immense arrangements containing roses, lilies, orchids, snapdragons and gerbera daisies.

The five-tiered, octagonal wedding cake was positioned along the mirrored wall in the grand ballroom and presented on an antique silver plateau surrounded by fresh flowers. The cake was an almond-flavored creation frosted in white buttercream and embellished with an ivory monogram.

The groom’s three-tiered, square chocolate cake was accented with chocolate-covered strawberries and spun chocolate on each layer.

Floral arrangements surrounded by votive candles and rose petals centered the guest tables. Guests were entertained with music by The Chill.
