Sevier, Stokes to marry

Marshall and Sharon Sevier of Tallulah announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Charlynne, to Charles David Stokes. Mr. Stokes is the son of David and Pam Stokes of Delta.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Tallulah Academy and the interpreter training technology program at Hinds Community College in Raymond.

Miss Sevier is employed at Hinds Community College.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Tallulah High School and attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Mr. Stokes is employed at Ergon Oil Refinery.

The wedding will be March 14, 2009, at Acts Tabernacle in Tallulah.
