Jimmy Ferguson

UTICA — Jimmy Ferguson died Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. He was 68.

A lifelong resident of Utica, Mr. Ferguson was a self-employed logger. He was a member of Cayuga United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Isabel Ferguson.

He is survived by his wife, Linda W. Ferguson of Utica; two sons, Herbert Ferguson of Utica and Patrick Ferguson of Panama City, Fla.; two daughters, Melissa Humphrey of Baileyton, Ala., and Teeny F. Kyle of Utica; a sister, Betty Beck of Utica; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cayuga United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marvin Curtis officiating. Burial will follow at Cayuga Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica.

Pallbearers will be T.J. Ferguson, Billy Bell, Pat Ramsey, Larry Boyd, Randy Humphrey and Selby Barlow.
