UTICA — Berdia Nelson of Utica died Friday, March 13, 2009, at Central Mississippi Medical Center. She was 64.

Mrs. Nelson worked for more than 30 years at Hinds General Hospital. She was a member of the Utica Southernaires.

Survivors include eight children, 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. John M.B. Church in Utica. Visitation will be from 1 until 8 p.m. Friday at Randle Memorial Chapel, 329 N. Mart Plaza in Jackson.
