T.J. Sardin

ANGUILLA — T.J. Sardin died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at his home in Anguilla. He was 82.

Mr. Sardin was of the Baptist faith and had retired from Fields Plantation in Anguilla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Sardin Sr. and Magnolia Smith Sardin; daughter, Doris Ann Hancock; and six brothers, Wesley Sardin, C.W. Sardin, Louis Sardin Jr., Tommie Lee Sardin, Tyree Sardin and Henry Sardin.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Lee Sardin of Anguilla; five sons, Curtis Jones of Los Angeles, James Earl Sardin of Terry, Roger Lee Sardin of Greenville, John Glen Sardin of Birmingham, Ray Charles Sardin of Horn Lake and Ricky Sardin of Anguilla; two daughters, Marie Taylor of Anguilla and Ruby Jean Sardin of Memphis; three brothers, Dave Sardin, Mason Sardin and Malcolm Sardin, all of Los Angeles; 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
