The engagement of Paula Lynn Kelly to Karl Linden Packer Jr., both of Little Rock, Ark., is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 5 p.m. April 4, 2009, at Curran Hall in Little Rock. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Kelly is the daughter of Sherry Page of Little Rock and Paul Kelly of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Dean Smith of Vicksburg, Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Sherman of Yazoo City and the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Kelly.

Mr. Packer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Linden Packer Sr. of Jacksonville, Ark. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Forbes of Quincy, Calif.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Vicksburg High School. She attended Eastern College, where she was on the honor roll.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Jacksonville High School.
