Azilee Green Grant died Thursday, March 19, 2009, at Promise Hospital. She was 50.

Mrs. Grant was born in Vicksburg and was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Bovina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy Leroy and Getrude Moran Green; four brothers, L.T. Moran, Judge Robert L. Moran, James Winfield and Tommy Lee Green.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Grant; a daughter, Nia Adrianna Green; three brothers, Johnny Moran, Nathan Green, both of Vicksburg and Willie L. Green of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; three sisters, Patsy Gibbs of Vicksburg, Christine Phillips of Edwards and Matilda Miles of Tiptonville, Tenn.; a grandson; and numerous relatives and friends.

Peoples Funeral Home of Jackson is handling the arrangements.
