Varian De Aundre Hutchison died Friday, March 20, 2009, as the result of an automobile accident. He was 17.

Mr. Hutchison was born in Memphis, Tenn., and moved to Vicksburg in 2006. He enjoyed playing basketball, working with computers and riding four-wheelers. He was a member of Carmel Ministries.

Mr. Hutchison was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Mary Hutchison.

Survivors include his mother, Juanita Hutchison of Vicksburg; his father, Stanley Neal of Memphis; one sister, Ariel Wade of Vicksburg; three brothers, Rodrick Reed and wife La’Quita Reed of Vicksburg, Quincy Shields of Vicksburg and Brandon Neal of Memphis; one niece, Jordyn Reed of Vicksburg; one nephew, Joshua Reed of Vicksburg; and other relatives, including the McClellan family.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at King Solomon Baptist Church with the Rev. R.D. Bernard officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 10 a.m. until noon at King Solomon Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Daniel McClellan, John Paul Page Jr., David Lee Brown, Chris Darnell, William McClellan and Steven Elrod.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rodrick Reed and Quincy Shields.
