Three Vicksburg men were in the Warren County Jail this morning after a methamphetamine bust on Rhodes Drive.

David Tuccio, 47, 214 Rhodes Drive, Jack Hill, 27, 115 Maison Rue, and Joe Brent, 28, no address available, were arrested at 6:03 p.m. Thursday at Tuccio’s residence and charged with manufacturing meth, possession of precursor chemicals and possession of meth, said Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace.

As the search warrant was being served, Pace said, “The three men were cooking the liquid form of methamphetamine, just before the final step of the manufacturing before the chemical chain reaction caused  it to crystallize.”

The sheriff’s department, Vicksburg Police Department and Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics worked together in the bust, Pace said.

Sixteen ounces of meth oil was recovered, he said.

The residence had been under surveillance since the sheriff’s department had received information of drug activity at the home, said Pace.

All three were being held without bond.
