M.T. “Butch” Bryant

M.T. “Butch” Bryant died Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at his home. He was 52.

Mr. Bryant was born in Fayette and lived most of his life in Vicksburg. He was a heavy equipment operator for Muirhead Dozer Service. Butch enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by a sister, Veronica “Sue” Medine, and stepfather, Raymond Gragg.

He is survived by his mother, Rite Mae Gragg of St. Amant, La.; his father, George Thomas Bryant of Vicksburg; sisters Debbie Trabeau of St. Amant and Rita Rousseau of Prairieville, La.; a brother, Ricky Bryant of Globe, Ariz.; a special aunt, Billie Prince of Vicksburg; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Nation officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Trabeau, David Purvis, Ronnie Muirhead, David Stewart, Ronnie Taylor and Cheyenne Terry.
