Army Pvt. Anthony D. Cleveland II has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Knox, Ky. During the nine weeks of training, he studied the Army mission, history and physical fitness and received instruction in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare, drill and ceremony, rifle marksmanship, field tactics, military courtesy and basic first aid.

A 2004 graduate of Vicksburg High School, he is the son of Alberta Wheeler of Vicksburg and Anthony D. Cleveland of Fayetteville, N.C.

Army Pvt. Joseph S. Harlow has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, he studied the Army mission, history and physical fitness and received instruction in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare, drill and ceremony, rifle marksmanship, field tactics, military courtesy and basic first aid.

He is a 2008 graduate of Tensas High School.

Air Force Airman Thomas A. Tarver has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. During the six weeks of training, he studied the Air Force mission, organization and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches; and received physical training, rifle marksmanship and special training in human relations. He also earned credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

A 2007 graduate of Warren Central High School, he is the son of Billy and Teresa Tarver of Vicksburg.
