Lance Rowe, dressed as Jesus Christ, stands along Pemberton Square Boulevard on Good Friday, the day Christians commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus and look ahead to Easter Sunday, the day of his resurrection. Rowe, of Ooltewah, Tenn., said, “Today I just thought it would be a good idea to remind people what Jesus did for them.” He is on a prayer walk up the Mississippi River and was accompanied Friday by Steve Taylor of Vicksburg.
