Chuck and Elaine Gardner of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Sylvia La’Rae Gardner, to Korey Mitchell Pugh of Vicksburg. Mr. Pugh is the son of Charlotte and John Kappler of Vicksburg.

Miss Gardner is the granddaughter of  Darryl and Sylvia Hale and Bobby and Erma Gardner, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Pugh is the grandson of Charles and Ruth Pugh of Church Hill, Tenn., and Frank and Jean Kappler of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect attended St. Aloysius High School and Warren Central High School.

The prospective groom attended Warren Central High School. He is employed with Ergon Spec Fab.

The wedding will be at 2 p.m. April 25, 2009, at Lighthouse Assembly of God.

A reception will follow at the Landings Club House. All family and friends are invited to attend.
