Eva Claire Ramshur died Monday, April 13, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 72.

Mrs. Ramshur was a native of Franklin Parish, La., and had made her home in Vicksburg most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ezekial Ramshur; a son, Scott Fedrick; a grandson, Joseph Morin; three brothers, Johnny Lee, R.T. Lee and Paul Lee; three sisters, Roma Campbell, Nellie Vee Reeves and Lillie Mae Jones; and her parents, Edward and Nettie Goodman Lee.

Survivors include two sons, Eddie Fedrick and James Anthony Ramshur, both of Vicksburg; one stepson, J.R. Ramshur of Delhi, La.; three daughters, Nancy Marie Ramshur and Teresa Morin, both of Vicksburg, and Tammy Darlene Echols of Lindale, Texas; two sisters, Claudia Norris of Vicksburg and Shelly Lee of Florida; one brother, Boyd J. Lee of Vicksburg; and 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Jacks officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon Thursday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Alex Brown, Jessie Reeves, Mark Reeves, Troy Norris, Randy Norris and Terry Lee.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Reeves, Patrick Lee, Stanley Lee and Jimmy Lee.
