NEWELLTON — Jimmy Ray Arnold died Sunday, April 12, 2009, at his home. He was 82.

Mr. Arnold was a retired retail grocer and had lived in Newellton all his life.

Survivors include his son, Clyde Ray Arnold of Newellton; a daughter, Susan Lee of Pineville, La.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Dwayne Butler officiating. Visitation will be from 2 today until the service. Burial will follow at Legion Cemetery in Newellton.
