Rosalie Scott Moore

Rosalie Scott Moore died Saturday, April 11, 2009, at the East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas. She was 77.

Mrs. Moore was born in Mound, La., and had lived most of her life in Madison Parish. She had moved to Texas two years ago. She was a retired supervisor for Louisiana Council on Aging and was a member of Pruitt Baptist Church in Van, Texas.

Survivors include her son, Ronald W. Moore of Van; three brothers, John Scott Jr. of Shreveport, William Scott of Lake Village, Ark., and George Scott of Vicksburg; four sisters, Alma Rollins of Winnsboro, Helen Breedlove of Bossier City, La., Opal Self of West Monroe and Ann Morgan of Shreveport; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were at 11 today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Butch Goodman officiating. Burial followed at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah.

Pallbearers were Steven Moore, Colt Chabert, Mathew Entrop, Loyd Moore, Bradley Young and Lamar Breedlove.
