City woman accused in ID theft

A Vicksburg woman was in the Warren County Jail this morning, accused of using an acquaintance’s identity and checking account to pay a utility bill, said Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace.

Theapolis Williams, 26, 4907 Halls Ferry Road, was arrested at 6:41 p.m. Tuesday and charged with identity theft and uttering a forgery. Williams was held without bond.

A burglary was reported at 6:52 a.m. Tuesday at Green Acres Memorial Garden, 191 U.S. 80.

A Stihl leaf blower valued at $350 and two Stihl weed trimmers valued at $400 were reported missing from the maintenance building on the property.

Dodge Charger stolen on National

An auto theft was reported at 11:27 p.m. Tuesday in the city.

A 1997 black Dodge Charg-er, tag and value unknown, was reported missing from the 900 block of National Street.

GPS, appliances reported missing

A residential burglary was reported in the city Tuesday, and an auto burglary was reported in the county today.

* A washing machine, dryer, microwave, gas stove and VCR, all of unknown value, were reported missing at 1:22 p.m. from a home in the 1900 block of Main Street.

* A Garmin GPS system valued at $150 and $200 in cash were reported missing at 6:18 this morning from a truck, description unavailable, in the 900 block of Blossom Lane.
