WATERPROOF, La. — Curley Parker Jr. died Saturday, April 18, 2009, in Waterproof, La. He was 56.

Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his parents, Curley Parker Sr. and Martha Lee Eastman Parker; brothers, Stephone Parker and Curley Parker III; his paternal grandparents, Willie Parker and Lucille Parker; and his maternal grandparents, Robert Eastman Sr. and Annie Lou Eastman.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Carson Parker of Vicksburg; a son, Kelvin Parker of Vicksburg; two daughters, Sonya Griffin and Jacqueline Parker Evans, both of Vicksburg; two sisters, Robyn Gregoire and Stella Johnson, both of Paulina, La.; two brothers, Micheal Parker and Alvin Williams, both of Paulina; five grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including Carrie Knight.

Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
