TALLULAH — Sherri P. Jones died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at Madison Parish Hospital. She was 44.

Born in Vicksburg, Ms. Jones was a Tallulah resident all her life. She was a Pinkerton security guard at Northrup-Grumman.

Survivors include her daughter, Brandi Adams of Tallulah; her son, Joseph Vaughn of Tallulah; her parents, Bill and Evelyn Travis of Tallulah; a sister, Wanda Smith of Bee Bayou, La.; and a brother, Sammie Byrd of Tallulah.

Services will be at 4 today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 1 p.m. until the service.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Watts, Terry Bolton, Ray Smith, Charlie Bolton, Jake Woodard and Mike Travis.
