A Vicksburg man and woman were in the Warren County Jail this morning charged with a variety of methamphetamine-related offenses after a bust Tuesday afternoon.

Delton Burns, 36, 5737 Gibson Road, and Nicole Warnock, 27, 1035 Fire Tower Drive, were arrested at 12:30 p.m. at 171 Freeman Lane in Bovina after deputies went to the address on a report of a stolen trailer being at the site, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Once there, deputies discovered an active meth-cooking lab in a 2002 F-150 Ford truck, which is owned by the resident who was not at home at the time of the bust but is expected to surrender to officers today, Pace said.

Burns and Warnock are charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursor chemicals and manufacturing methamphetamine, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Deputies recovered precursor chemicals from the truck, the home and a storage unit on the property, along with a small amount of finished product, said Pace.

The stolen trailer was also recovered, but no information on the trailer was available.

Burns and Warnock were held without bond.

Separately, another Vicksburg man was in the Warren County Jail this morning on a drug-related charge.

Fredrick Henyard, 31, 1327 East Ave., was arrested at 1 p.m. Tuesday during a traffic stop at 1905 Mission 66 and charged with sale of the controlled substance cocaine, said Sgt. Sandra Williams.

Henyard was arrested on a felony warrant stemming from an undercover operation by Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and the Vicksburg Police Department, said Williams. She said Henyard was not in possession of drugs at the time of his arrest, but no other information was available.

He was held without bond.
