Warren Central High girls soccer tryouts
The Warren Central High School girls soccer program will be holding tryouts on May 11-12 on the front field at 3 p.m. for players in grades 7-12.

WC High School looking for swim coach

Clear Creek ladies Mostly 4’s game
On Saturday, the ladies of Clear Creek Golf Club will play a game of “Most 4’s, real or handicap.” Check in time is 9:30 a.m., with tee off at 10 a.m.
Tournament Baseball Golf Scramble
On May 8, Clear Creek Golf Club is scheduled to host the Tournament Baseball Golf Scramble. Hamburgers will be served at noon with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
Crawfish will be served immediately following. There will be awards per flight and door prizes. Four-player teams are $85 per player. Hole sponsorships are available at $100 and mulligans will be $10. Fee includes crayfish, cart fee and drink.

WC High School basketball tryouts
Warren Central High School will be holding tryouts for both the ninth grade and varsity teams. For the ninth-grade team, tryouts will be today through May 1 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Warren Central Junior High gym.
For the varsity team, tryouts will be at Warren Central High on May 18, 19 and 20 from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. For more information, call 918-510-8355.
WC High School softball tryouts
Tryouts for the Warren Central slow-pitch softball team will be held at Lucy Young Field on May 4-6 from 3 until 4:30 p.m. Players need a current physical and their own glove. Vicksburg High School soccer tryouts
Tryouts for the Vicksburg High School soccer team are scheduled for May 11-12 at the school from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. Players must bring cleats, shin guards and a completed physical. For information, call Jason Bennett at 601-636-2914.
Kings Center Basketball League
The Kings Community Empowerment Center is scheduled to host an elementary basketball league from June 6 until July 18. Registration fee is $35 and includes a team T-shirt. First through fifth graders are eligible. The games will be played at the center. Registration will be through May 22 at 224 R. L. EMCC baseball team tryouts
East Mississippi Community College will hold baseball tryouts Saturday on the Scooba campus. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at EMCC’s Gerald Poole Field.

Madison Parish AAU tourney
Better Education Today presents Madison Parish End of Summer AAU Basketball Tournament to be held July 31-August 2, 2009 at Madison Parish High School, 800 Wyche Street in Tallulah. The tournament is open to boys and girls ages 13-17. Each team is guaranteed three games.
The registration fee is $150 per team and the registration deadline is July 24. If you register before July 20, the registration fee is only $100. There will be a $50 fee assessed to all late registrants. Please make checks or money orders payable to Lamia R. Ewell, 1111 Bayou Drive, Tallulah, La. 71282.
The tournament is hosted by Virginia Beach, Virginia Storm AAU Basketball Program.
