Coco the Chihuahua took a run at being Mighty Dog Wednesday afternoon when he and owner Claude Reeves Jr. of McComb took a tumble off Interstate 20 in their Dodge Ram near the East Clay Street westbound on-ramp, jack-knifing their attached 20-foot trailer and landing in the median. Reeves, a pipefitter on his way to Colorado, said a dark-colored Ford merged into his lane as he was driving onto the highway, causing the wreck. He said the trip was Coco’s first with him and probably the last he would want to take. Neither Reeves nor Coco was injured. (Meredith Spencer*The Vicksburg Post)
