A heavy-equipment operator resurfaces the road Wednesday at the VerBeck branch of the YMCA on Oak Ridge Road. “We want to freshen it up, give a new look,” said program director Dustin Blount. Other upgrades to the 56-acre site built in 1986 include drainage system repairs, new netting around the pool, new flower beds, fresh paint in the day camp building and parking lot expansion.
